After passing the 10th class(Highschool) you choose one streem out of three (Science, Arts and Commerce).
When you select science stream, you can't change your subjects until you passed 12th Class(Intermediate). After passing the 12th you select any stream for your graduation.
In other hand if choose Atrs stream and passed 12th then you can't select science stream.
